At Waltz into Learning we focus on play and hands on experiences, while in a small classroom environment. We believe children learn best through play and in an environment that they are free to explore and experience.
Waltz into Learning is a play-based program filled with endless opportunities for your child to experiment and explore the world around them. We know that every child learns at their own pace, and we respect and honor their individual journey.
We will provide your child daily with love, support, encouragement, and appropriate risks to help them become the best version of who they are.

Hi! My name is Amy Waltz, or as the children call me, Miss Amy. I have been in the Early Childhood field since 2002 and can't imagine doing anything else! I have my Associates in Early Childhood Education and ran a childcare and preschool out of our home for 18 years before starting our early learning program in our sweet little red schoolhouse. I am very excited to be able to provide this program to our amazing community and look forward to continuing to get to know so many amazing families and kids.
I am a mom to three amazing kiddos who I also have the privilege of homeschooling. Preschool is my passion, and I am a huge believer that children need the opportunity to remain children for as long as they can. I believe children learn best through exploration and experiences and am so excited to provide your child with that opportunity in our classroom.
When I am not teaching you can find me with my family camping or exploring somewhere near water! In my down time I am always happy with a good book or a cup of coffee with a close friend.
